Child Safety Standards

YapRoll · Effective 1 October 2026

YapRoll is a chat app for adults aged 18 and over, run by Bros Dolz LLC. We do not allow children on YapRoll, and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. This page sets out our standards, how we enforce them, and how to reach us about child safety.

1. What is prohibited

The following are prohibited on YapRoll, in messages, voice notes, GIFs, profiles, display names and photos:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video, audio or text that depicts or describes a minor in a sexual way, whether real, drawn, animated or generated by AI;
  • grooming: building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually abuse or exploit them;
  • soliciting a minor for sexual content, sexual conversation or a meeting, and sextortion;
  • sexualising minors in any way, including in comments, role-play or jokes;
  • trafficking, advertising or arranging access to minors for any form of exploitation;
  • sharing, requesting or linking to any of the above, or to places where it can be found;
  • using YapRoll if you are under 18.

2. Keeping minors out

  • Every account must give a date of birth when it is created, and the server refuses any date of birth under 18.
  • Our Terms of Service, our Community Guidelines and both app store listings state that YapRoll is for adults only.
  • Any account we find to belong to somebody under 18 is removed.

3. How we detect it

  • Every profile photo is checked automatically before anybody else can see it, and photos the check is unsure about are held for a person to review. Photos can only be shown after they pass.
  • Anybody can report an account from inside any conversation, with a dedicated Underage reason. A report attaches a frozen copy of the conversation's last 20 text messages and GIFs, so the evidence survives even if the messages are deleted.
  • Every report is reviewed by a person within 24 hours.
  • Anybody, including people who do not use YapRoll, can report a concern by email (see section 6).

4. What we do

When we find CSAE content or behaviour, or have reason to believe it is happening, we:

  • remove the content and ban every account involved, immediately and without warning. These bans cannot be appealed;
  • report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and to other relevant authorities where appropriate, as the law requires;
  • preserve the evidence as the law requires, and keep it away from everybody but the people handling the report;
  • cooperate with law enforcement investigations in response to valid legal process;
  • keep a one-way fingerprint of a banned account, so it cannot return by signing up again.

5. Our obligations

Bros Dolz LLC is a United States company and complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including the duty under United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) to report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC, and with the child safety laws of the other countries where YapRoll is available.

6. Child safety contact

To report a child safety concern, or for questions about these standards, email [email protected] with “Child safety” in the subject line.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or, outside the United States, to your national hotline, which you can find through INHOPE.
